How To delete Apps From your Android Phone

1. When you uninstall an Android app, all of the data that is associated with it will be deleted. If you want anything saved make sure that you’ve downloaded, exported, or otherwise backed up any data associated with the app that you want to delete.

2. Now that we’re ready to begin deletion, find the app menu on the device. Once there, launch the Google Play application. This is the same app that you used to download and install the app originally. As a reminder, Google Play is often labeled “Play Store,” and the icon looks like a handbag with the Google Play logo on it.

3. Within the Google Play homescreen, find the “My Downloads” section. This lists all of the apps that are installed on your device.

4. Within “My Downloads,” find the app that you want to uninstall in the list. Tap on the app in question; this sends you to the application detail page. Within that page tap the “Uninstall” button.

And it’s gone.
Note: Many Android devices come with pre-installed applications. You cannot easily delete or remove these apps.
